Hospitalization Cash Benefit
Receive a daily cash benefit for every night spent in a Ministry of Health accredited hospital after three consecutive nights of hospitalization. This benefit helps cover everyday expenses while you focus on getting better.
Accidental Medical Expense Cover
Get reimbursed for eligible medical expenses resulting from an accident, helping you manage unexpected treatment costs and recovery expenses.
Microproperty Protection
Protect your home or business against financial loss arising from fire, burglary, floods, earthquakes, lightning, and other covered natural perils.
Last Expense Cover
Provide financial support to your loved ones in the event of death resulting from illness, natural causes, or an accident, helping them manage funeral and related expenses during a difficult time.
Claim Requirement:
Notification to the insurer
Duly filled APA claim form
Police Abstract in the case of an accident and property claims
Certified/Original Death & Burial Permit for death related claims
Copy of the National Identification Card of the insured & the Next of Kin
Hospital discharge letter, medical report, itemized invoices and any supporting documents where applicable
Images of the destroyed property/asset for microproperty
If the claim documentations are not satisfactory to the Insurer, the Insurer reserves the right to investigate the circumstances of the claim to determine whether the claim is payable or not.
CLAIMS PROCEDURE
Notify the Insurer via email at microinsurance@apainsurance.org that a claim has occurred immediately or within 30 days, and submit all Claims Documents in relation to the claim of the Policyholder within seven (7) days from the date of Claim Notification.
Claims Turnaround time applies upon receipt of full documentation by the insurer.
