MamaGas Returns Policy

 

  1. Eligibility for Returns and Replacements
  • The return or replacement of LPG cylinders is subject to the conditions outlined in this policy.
  • Returns and replacements will only be processed if the request is made within the applicable timeframe and in compliance with safety regulations.
  1. Non-Refundable Items
  • If a cylinder’s seal has been broken and no fault is found upon inspection, it is non-refundable.
  • Refunds are not issued for cylinders that have been tampered with, refilled by third parties, or damaged due to mishandling.
  1. Replacement Policy
  • If a cylinder seal has been broken and a leak is detected, MamaGas will replace the cylinder within two hours of notification.
  • If a fault is detected within three days of purchase, MamaGas will conduct an investigation to determine the cause of the fault. Based on the findings, MamaGas will either replace the cylinder or issue a refund.
  • Beyond three days, claims for faults or leaks will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and may require additional verification.
  1. Reporting a Defective Cylinder
  • Customers must report any suspected defect or leak immediately to MamaGas customer support.
  • Customers must provide proof of purchase and allow MamaGas representatives to inspect the cylinder.
  • If the defect is determined to be a manufacturing issue, the customer will be eligible for a replacement or refund as applicable.
  1. Refund Process
  • If a refund is approved, it will be processed within seven working days through the original payment method.
  • Refunds will only be issued if the cylinder meets the return conditions outlined in this policy.
  1. Legal Compliance
  • This return policy is in accordance with the consumer protection laws and safety regulations governing LPG distribution in Kenya.
  • Customers must adhere to all safety protocols and report defective cylinders to the relevant authorities where necessary.
